Meet the one, the only, the miraculously recovered Miss Frizzle! ?✨
Just like her famous namesake from The Magic School Bus, this little girl knows a thing or two about wild adventures, messy hair days, and making a spectacular comeback.
When Miss Frizzle first arrived from Atascosa County Animal Control, she was living up to her name a little too literally. She was sporting some fashionable hair loss, a bit of dirt, a slight limp, and a double-whammy diagnosis of ringworm and coccidia. She was scared, fragile, and at risk of euthanasia. But did she let that stop her? Wahoo! Absolutely not! With a little help from her foster "field trip" guides, some daily meds, and lots of love, she has completely turned things around. Her appetite is through the roof, she’s gaining healthy kitten weight, and her fur is starting to look much more "fabulous" and much less "frizzled."
Now that she’s feeling good, this black-and-white beauty is a non-stop ball of purring energy. Here’s what you need to know about our favorite student of play:
The Sound Effects: She has the absolute world record for the smallest, scratchiest meow you’ve ever heard, but it is paired with a generator-grade, room-shaking purr. Seriously, if you so much as make eye contact with her, her motor starts right up!
Favorite Subjects: Physics (specifically, how fast she can chase spring toys) and biology (stalking and pouncing on anything with feathers).
Her Personality: She went from a terrified wallflower to an affectionate, brave explorer who loves to be right where the action is.
Miss Frizzle is currently finishing up her lesson plan (a.k.a. a few more weeks of ringworm treatment) and will be getting her spay surgery soon. She will be officially ready to board her forever bus and head home with her new family in August.
Ready to adopt? Miss Frizzle is currently accepting applications! If you're ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and high-energy play, reach out to us today to ask about this special girl.
As the Friz herself would say: "To the bus!" ?
